Mahesh Babu's Pokiri has created a sensation nationwide. It became all time biggest grocer in Tollywood. Now, the film has also set another record over small screen i.e. Television.
On Independence Day, MAA TV did telecast Pokiri. That was the first airing of the film on TV. And it garnered highest Television Rating Points (TRP). The film scored 18 TRPs. On the same day and same time, Gemini TV, the channel that has highest viewer ship in Andhra Pradesh, aired another blockbuster Aparachitudu starring Vikram and Sada for the first time.
But our Pokiri won over Aparachitudu. Vikram's film was way beyond from Pokiri.
Pokiri is really become a phenomena. Thanks to Mahesh, MAA TV for the first time beat Gemini TV in a big way.
