Pokiri was the film that put Maheshbabu on top of Tollywood Box-office. Maheshbabu’s forthcoming film Athidhi theatrical rights are said to be bagged by UTV by paying eye-popping price to Rameshbabu. Mahesh is already signed Rs36 crore deal with UTV for three film contract.Mahesh is also the brand ambassador of the ThumsUp, Hero Honda and Whirl Pool and many more corporate companies are after Mahesh to sign him as their brand ambassador.
The latest buzz from filmnagar is that the producer Dr K L Narayana whose story line is already accepted by Mahesh for Mirchi was approached the hero for dates. Mahesh is believed to have stated that he will sign on the doted lines if the remuneration is paid Rs10 crorees.
The producer is in dilemma in making the film with Mahesh as he feels that amount is too high. Mahesh remuneration for his previous films was Rs5 crores. The remuneration is doubled at a time.
